WOW guess this could go in a few different places on the site so I've picked the general area...
First let me through a big shout out and thank you to Shug for his videos and inspiration.
I've been hiking and camping for a few years now but I only camp 1-2 times a year because even with my top notch self inflating sleep pad I wake up feeling like my spine is going to crack in half. Due to this I went in search of hammock options and boy oh boy do I think I've found my option.
I've gone with a ENO Double Net (I'm a wide guy) whoopieslings, whoopie tree huggers, dutch clips, whoopie adjustable ridgeline, whoopie continues ridgeline for tarp and a WB superfly tarp (waiting for the superfly to come in).
Today I went out into a local wildlife management area to setup my hammock with suspension for the first time and boy was I shocked... when really looking around I found a hammock camping site vs a normal camping site 10-1. Once I hung my hammock and got in it I was shocked at how comfy it was I almost fell asleep after laying in it for 5 minutes... It was so comfy I didn't know what to do... Now all that is left is to figure out how to make a under and over quilt as it was 50* out and I def felt the chill.
