Hiked a section of the AT this weekend with the troop...we camped at Quarry Gap Shelter, which was an incredibly well-kept shelter.

We have a couple of "hangers" in the troop now, and more to come.

But I learned an important lesson: Don't hang over a stream. No, I didn't fall in, but the sound of the water kept me up all night. Or at least that is my story and I am sticking to it! Sure, it may have been worrying about getting wet. It may have been the 24* cold air. It may have been the lone wilderness scout, sleeping in a make-shift survival shelter I worried about all night. Maybe. But I blame the noise of the rushing water.

Yeah, yeah, I know, it doesn't look like a big stream, but it was sure big in my mind!
