Hey everyone,

Though I've been registered on this site for a while, I have not posted yet. I figured I'd start in the intro forum seeing as it is my first post and all. I hope to be posting often and contributing what ideas and projects I have going on to the forum.

My name is Joe and I am from Mooresville, NC, USA.

I got into hammocking after looking for a lighter backpacking solution than a tent. Eventually after much deliberation, I ended up in a Hennesy Expedition A-sym. I LOVED the comfort the hammock offered over the ground and have been using a hammock ever since. I swear I sleep better in my hammock than I do in my bed at home.
I've got a couple of DIY projects coming up and some that I just completed and will be posting to the DIY forum. Hope to see you all around, maybe even at a local hang!
