Can anyone tell me what type of knot is tied around the carabiner on the ENO? Sorry just not that great with knots.

Heck, I can't remember. I was too concerned about getting it off of there.
well better yet what's a good binding knot to hold my weight(205lbs) I just figured if ENO uses that knot on their carabiner it must be a decent one.
Sorry...too busy cutting mine off too in order to add the whoopie slings. I didn't want to trust my weight on their knot or rope.
I simply made a continuous loop out of and ran it through with a larkshead. I'll try to attach a pic of one I did for my daughter. This one is with paracord since she is only 3 and I made it her size. I'm hoping the photo attaches. (we'll see)
ENO uses a slip knot around the carabiner, and I think they use a double fisherman's knot for the other end of the loop. (I took mine off a while ago, so I am going from memory.)
The day my ENO DN was delivered, the first thing that I did was remove the heavy biner and cruddy looking rope in anticipation of getting the amsteel for whoopies. I used some zing it in the sewn channel to form a large ball, then wrapped the whoopie twice around the material just below that with a larks head (I think). I hung with it this weekend for the first time, and no fears of it holding you at a puny 205 I am 320. No worries, just do it. That amsteel is some amazing stuff.
