I think it may feel that way because its more of a "process" to get in and out or at least seems that way..but then again maybe it's stretching everyone's bladders.

For me it's cold weather period. Hammock or tent or b ivy or cowboy. When that wave of cold air hits me a 0-dark 30 I _gotta_ empty the bladder. Now-a-days I carry an empty coffee creamer bottle on a lanyard. I can roll out of the hammock, uncap, drain and recap without getting more than semi-awake. Well, at least that's my "aim".

I have to wonder how much of the issue is sitting around consuming large quantities of liquids before bed time. ;-)

Does not have to be "adult". Advice is often offered to have a hot drink or an energy drink before bed time to stoke up one's metabolism and sleep warmer. Now that you mention it I do like a bit of anti freeze in my cocoa. ;-)

I have had a week of hanging over a mountian creek, the first days i had washed feet before i got in, and solved it with a bunch of rocks..
But no going out at night for me!
The only downside was the temperature, is was a hot summer, but the creek lay in the dark the whole day, so it was chilly at night...
It is just a mindset, i think. if you focus what not to to, your body remembers it during the night.

Mindset? I don't know. I have experianced working outside the most of one day and ignored the urge only to be alarmed by the quality when I finally allowed myself the break. Definitely not doing that again if I can help it.

More of a process getting out of the hammock or out of the tent? For me, hammock is by far easier to get up and go pee.

Did you really mean "quality" or was that supposed to be "quantity" (not saying I haven't had some satisfying pees before, but given the context, it seems like you might've meant the other).

Quality. You get used to one thing and then encounter another and it will ring an alarm.
