I don't honestly remember if I ever posted an introduction when I joined the forum initially, so I thought that I would take the opportunity to make sure I take care of it now that I have changed my user name from KCcamper to Labrador.

I have been re-engaging in camping/backpacking now that we have re-located to Oregon from Colorado. Actually we made the move about 3 years ago now. Anyway. Being out here in the raining NW I decided that I needed to find a better way to "live" while in the woods that would help to keep me from waking up in puddle filled tents. What do you know, I found hammocks. Well now that I have found them I have become addicted and my family and friends enjoy mocking me for just how much time I spend looking at hammock/backpacking related items. I look forward to getting know more folks in this fine community we have here on the forum.
