Last night was a good one here. My 9yr. old grandson, who had "helped" me make a turtle-dog stand a few days ago, was watching me try out a hammock on it and asked, "Pops, can I sleep in this hammock tonight when you sleep in yours?" You guessed it, the answer was yes and so I had to cobble up a piece of tarp to keep the dew off him, but it worked. End result, he had a ball, his feet got cold but nothing else, he even had to get up during the night to answer nature and managed to get back in and covered up. I confess that I slept lightly in case some assurance was needed, but he handled it like a pro. Out of 8 grandkids, he is the youngest and the only one to have much interest in my hammocks, and I'm sure everyone knows what that will get him, right?
