I live about 45 min away from the Gorge and have been eying Indian Staircase all winter! I would love to go if it works out, especially to 'hang' with fellow hangers.

I hope you dont mind a generally inexperienced hanger coming along. Im an experienced backpacker but Ive only been hammock camping for about 6 months, and just moved out of my Target burlap hammock. Nevertheless, Im excited to not only meet other hangers but pick some brains as well!
