I just got my ENO Doublenest which I ordered specifically because I am 6' and wanted something with extra room. I am dissapointed in how "floppy" the extra material on the sides of the Doublenest. I have read where some DN owners have trimmed the extra material off. I don't want to do that but I am wondering if there would be a way to add tension to that material so that it 1) didn't flop over and 2) added more usable width to the hammock.

Has anyone modded their DN to address this? Perhaps by sewing some stretchy trim the the sides which would keep them from flopping over but allow for stretch?

An easy approach would be to simply gather in 2-3 inches of the flaps and sew a few sturdy seams. My concern there would be tears and stress on the fabric when I am in the hammock.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
