I have a clark tx 250, has any one used the Medium JRB Speed Sack for a
TX- 250 ? Will a NX/TX 250 fit in a JRB speed Sack?
Thanks

They are a bit to snug
Once you get 50 posts, you can go on the PIF thread. They often have speed sacks come up and the person offering it may make the size you need for your TX-250. Just a thought.

Thanks BH for the info, what is PIF thread?

What sets a canoeing expedition apart is that it purifies you more rapidly and inescapably than any other travel. Travel a thousand miles by train and you are a brute; pedal five hundred on a bicycle and you remain basically a bourgeois; paddle a hundred in a canoe and you are already a child of nature.

It is the Pay it Forward thread within the for sale forum. You can claim an item and then post up a return PIF. Check it out, read the rules and once you have 50 posts, you can play too.

How do you like the TX-250??? I was eyeing it on the Clark website a while back.

BH,
This is coming from someone with limited hammock experience ... but I really sleep well in it, very comfortable and lots of room and options. I opted to go with the TX instead of the NX because of the zip down hood and I really wasn’t sold on the pocket idea for warmth.
Right now I just use a Wal-Mart blue pad and my 0* sleeping bag, without a problem down to 38* (coldest its been) in the back yard. Eventually I will go with a under quilt, but his will see me through the summer and early fall.
Going on a Kayak Fishing trip next week first time putting the Clark to a real life test, should be no problem. My Kayak fishing buddy who got me into the idea of camping with a hammock has an ENO of some sort as soon as he tried mine he order one.

FYI, I bought a x-large (15" x 9" flat measured ) hammock 2 open end bag from Marty at Wilderness Logic as a stuff sack for my clark tax-250, it was a little tight so I gave it to my 15 year old for his DD Frontline and it was a perfect fit. Called Marty and had him make me a xx-large 17" x 10" 2 open end bag and it fit perfect. Charged same as other bag $12.00 and had it in 2days ... Super job, top quality and Marty is a great person to boot.

Is there one that will hold the NX250, tarp, poles, Z-liner, stakes and suspension?
