My son is making a pillow from some pieces (large, formed in ridges) that he wants to glue together. These pieces fit together like a puzzle, , , sort of.
He want's the glue to be flexible but able to hold in/on OCF.
Anyone have any suggestions.

Contact Cement will hold like concrete and remain flexible. You could also use hot glue, but be sure to get the high temp stuff or it may separate while riding in the car on a sunny summer afternoon.

I've had good success using regular Super-glue to bond velcro strips to CCF pads.

Ditto on the spray glue and rubber/contact cement (they're all the same stuff, just different forms). Great stuff, and stays flexible.

Yeah I've been told the Super 79 was developed because the new formula of 77 melts most foams. I have had luck with the generic 3M General Purpose Spray Adhesive. It will bond to polyolefin ( tyvek, blue ww pads) like no other. I don't have experience using it other foams though.

Thanks Gang, keep em coming, this is good stuff! He has access to a bunch of it, it's what Wendy's (R) ships their new waffle cones in. So we may be trying all suggestions just because.
He may just be putting it in a "loose pillowcase".
Reminder, we are talking OPEN CELL foam, the VERY soft stuff that compresses like crazy.

Any chance of a picture of the stuff? If I am envisioning it right I may start stopping by Wendy's and asking for the stuff for other projects.
