I'm curious to see how my fellow Texans stay warm, or cool depending on the seasons. We don't really have winter down here but we do have erratic weather whenever it's not summer. In the summer I get by sometimes with no insulation other than a wind shirt draped over me. When it is cooler a 50 degree sleeping bag as a TQ works just fine with my Gossamer Gear Nitelite pad below. I just purchased a Jacks r Better Sierra Snivler for the occasional cold night, but I haven't tried it out yet. I'm planning on using it with the foam pad beneath me. Does anyone ever feel the need for an underquilt in Texas?
