I have slightly used North Face Green Kazoo sleeping bag for sale.
This is the "Long" version and the zipper on the right hand side.
It is filled with 600+ fill-power goose down and rated by The North Face to 15-degree. It has a nice hood with draft collar and draw string and is an all-around great sleeping bag.
The Good:
- Only slightly used
- Excellent condition except as noted below
- Clean
- Only stored loose
- Includes compression stuff sack & mesh storage bag
The Bad:
I originally bought it new online. When it arrived, we opened the box with a razor knife and put a clean slice through the mesh bag and the outer shell of the sleeping bag. No down was lost and I immediately repaired it as follows:
- Glued the cut edges together with McNett silicone sealer
- Applied a patch of McNett Tenacious Tape to cover the glued edges
- Applied McNett silicone sealer around the patch to prevent the edges from peeling up
For the mesh bag, I simply put Tenacious tape inside and out so the sticky couldn't be felt through the mesh. Since then I've only used it 4-5 times in situations where I was forced to sleep in a tent. I now have a quilt that is suitable for both hammock and ground sleeping. The injury & repair are clearly visible in the photos below. They look worse than they actually are and have not impacted the performance of the sleeping bag. I just don't have a need for it anymore.
