Hello everyone! I'm a Long time hiker/hanger/lurker/amateur tailor aka thread injector type person. Thought I would sign up -finally- and say hello to everyone after lurking around for a long while. Just retired from the Army after 30 years ("sniff" ) and am currently settled in Wyoming near the Bighorn Mountains.
I love making my own gear and absolutely LOVE hammocks! If I was in charge, there would be a hammock in everyone's backpack. But I'm not in charge (so says the wife), so there you have it. I hope to have some great fun online here with other like minded individuals - especially when I get snowed in! BEWARE! I have excellent lung power and can be quite long winded at times.
