Sounds like a hull made of tungsten might be needed for this one!

Woohoo Wisenber is a go!
Roche, best be napping a boat from somewhere.
TwoTrees there is a lot of pressure on you---to keep us hangers semi-legal and out of jail!
p.s. TwoTrees major kudos/congrats on your AT section hike! That Insulhammock was sweet I bet.
Spam, don't worry too much about the hull, worry about the little know species of Clinch River alligators
I'm in if canoes are allowed! I'll have to finally break down and get a fishing permit due to the company,,, and a Fishing rod of some sort now that the Dynamite is on the no-no list!
http://camping-hammock.us/. INSULHAMMOCK
I would hate to see the price on a tungsten hull. I will let the pharmacist pull the trigger on that one and write a review!
I'm having a hard time adjusting to noise and responsibilities after leaving the AT. I will say this about the argon insulhammock and matching tarp, it saved my bacon on this trip. Worth every penny! If stole out of basement, I will reorder as soon as I find cell phone.
Now back to the dueling banjos and river floats. I'm still in the scouting/planning stage. 3 to 4 paddlers and stealth is a go. Looks like we are pushing 10 at least. I will have to seek out landowners for this size group. We also need to figure out days distance to paddle. The upper Clinch is water sensitive. Optimum flow results in rolling shoals with smooth rocks. I highly recommend felt bottom shoes to navigate the "guaranteed to bust your ___ in crocs" shallows. There are a lot of ledges with shoots. The ledges look just like saw blades. If you like to run the shoots, I do, then your boat suffers. If you drift line your boat through then no damage. Remember you will have a three day "water voyage" load on board. Slack water areas are prevalent and it will require grunting if head wind present on river (almost always is). No flow, then we get 50 mile pulk practice for Roane Cold Hang. High water, we go on a hike somewhere. To dangerous with sweepers and no "bail-out" spots due to wooded shores.
Im slammed until I get back from family vacation first week of June. I will then float the thing and figure something out with landowners. Jail in Hancock county usually isn't crowded if you know what I mean. Some will understand that statement, other's just disappear.
Remember--Some People are alive simply because it is illegal to shoot them.
Some people can paint the Sistine chapel, some people can finger-paint, and some people just eat the Crayons....
Alright kids I'm eying this! I'm on a pretty short leash right now as I'm in the process of moving momma and turning my kids into yankees...err...Midwesterners.
I have an old canoe, but no Yak. I'll keep an eye out...Mainly for the company I'd be amongst!!!

Afoot and light-hearted, I take to the open road,
Healthy, free, the world before me,
The long brown path before me, leading wherever I choose.
