thanks.he was just hideing.this is their natural defense and why they have spots.the spots help camoflage them,they are also scentless when this small so predators can not find them that way.he got up and toddeled off,seems he did not like the pic.takeing.
all my trips except the fbh were in michigans u.p.the more you get out in da wood the cooler things you see.

Awesome multiple belated trip report(s)! Great pics, as well - love it when we get close to nature with wildlife! The survival shelter looked pretty good, too. Everyone should know how to erect one of those, at least for a night. Liked the fire reflector in yours - good stuff!
