i'd love to come, but the drive from washington is a little longer than the drive from northern ca. if this job ends in time I will try to make it, but there is already talk about it being longer than expected. good news is i'm sleeping in my bb every other night.

No ideas man. seems like alot of people have too much stuff goin on in the next month or so. I wonder if there wasn't enough notice and their time was all booked up.

Gonna throw it out there that we could do a later hang mabey? Just an idea, see how it sticks. But I'll still plan for Sept 18-20.

Hey Plowhorse, how you like the BB? You probably have more experience in it than I do, so you could show me some stuff when we get together at some point.

this thing is heaven i have found some interesting places to hang. wish I hadn't forgotten my camera. the looks I get when I start setting up are priceless most of the time I hang one hend off the headboard of my pickup and the other to a tree. wed night I actually strung it up between the support poles for the overhead canopy of an abandoned gas station. everybody else is sleeping in their pickup seats and waking up looking like death warmed over. I crawl out of bed(is that the right term to use now that I have a hammock) and feel great. unlike the other 4 nights a week that I sleep on the fold out couch in my dad's travel trailer. wish I had a stand for use here in the campground where the trailer is at we will definatley have to get together after this job is finished and compare notes.

    San G wilderness permit

So is there going to be 3 hangers this trip? Plus about may-be 8-12 other scouts+leaders from my troop. I'll be filling out a wilderness permit so I can add ya'al to it. So let me know. Thanks

Hey guys, I don't think I'll be able to go untill next spring. I can't afford it as I have a vacation I have to budget for, and I still need some winter gear. I can't afford both. Sorry again, and give me some notice and I'll definitely go next trip.
