triangle rings on suspension system? what else?

I'm finding the triangle rings on the suspension system tend to slip on my bb. I add one of those slippery half hitch kinda things but that sometimes slips a bit too.

I have a set of cinch buckle straps that I got from a fellow member on this forum that I use on my eno and just love how quick and easy adjustments are made on it. It also never slips. Is there any cons about this type of device? I hadn't yet found any?!

there's also other suspension systems out there, but I'm only interested in the knotless types ...... and just what is a whoopie sling that I've heard mention of? I hadn't seen any pics of this ....

also, I have a right footbox bb and I think I really need a lefty model instead. so I guess I don't want to muck up this hammock until I get my lefty model.

If you tie the half-hitch tight right behind the rings, it shouldn't slip.

The only real con is the weight.

There are loads of pics in the Whoopie Sling instructional sticky thread in the Support Systems forum. Also Grizz made a video.

I don't know why but I have had very little slippage from the tri-rings. The most is about an inch. I forget to do the half hitch all the time. I will buy those rings from you if you wish. I use them on my Bridgeskin. There is very little downside to the buckles. They are a little heavier, but work awsome.

A half hitch at the rings and I've never had a bit of slip. Sometimes I want it to and it won't. I have to really work the rings apart to get slack so the strap will slide. I wonder if the rings you have are different somehow?

I found the Triangle rings to be a PIA when trying to get them to loosen up too. I took them off and installed cinch buckles. Now I am happy.
