Highs around 70 and Lows around 40 for the most part. Fall seems right on schedule and foliage should be peaked out in southern Vermont in 15 to 20 days.

Wonderful temps here too. Same as Dutch's. 70's during day, 60's at night. So nice here, hammocked in the backyard last night.

Highs 70s lows 50s....very wet for the past 7 days rain every day and 4 days to endure. Neighborhood flooded today. What normally is a 6 inch deep creek turned into a whitewater adventure taking fences, cars, and entire detached buildings down stream closing all roads in and out of the neighborhood. IM STUCK! but at least have power. sheww a 100 yr drought followed by a 100 year flood. yay GA

    Still summer.
Niece's wedding in nature on a Lake. (Quiet state park, kids all in school.)

Went camping in central PA. Pine Groves with tall straight competing deciduous trees.
Very different growth than NY Catskills our usual camping location.

    First night soft summer rain.
Then autumn cool nights. Stars and tall trees, no tarp. 40 degrees.

Last nights in my NeatSheet and air mattress cocoon, and still warm.

The SnugFit arrived in the mail today.
Perhaps, as anniversary present, it will get my husband to join me more often.
I'll use it when he stays in the tent.

I wonder why the sounds of my husband and the dog snoring seems louder when I'm hanging forty feet away. And why the sound of the tent zipper when he gets up to urinate wakes me and I have to go also.

Love those tall woods. Had worked in a scout camp there as a teen.
My dreams of log cabins in the forest are imprinted from that forest.

Now after hanging over night, when back indoors, I nightdream of hanging in a forest.

Same here! It's actually great. I love the rain.

I'm trying to take advantage of it, and spent all weekend kayaking creeks that are usually low.
