    Ring System Questions

I've read posts that mention "triple ring" suspension, are three rings on each end better than two?

seems over kill to me. i use 2 descending rings on each end and have had no problems in freezing weather or hot sticky GA summers.

Yea, I may have misunderstood... two rings seem adequate.

IMO one ring is better than two - just tie a girth hitch to the ring with the strap - almost as easy to adjust as the two ring system

You're probably thinking of the "tri-ring" setup, which isn't rings at all, it's 2 triangle screw-links in the same setup as the rings.

It's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

I think that was it, do you know where those are sold? Might work out better if I keep the stock Hennessy line.

I can get them, they are not specifically rated, but I have had a 350 pound guy hang off of two of them and the did not bend, or break. Brandon at Warbonnet is the only other place that has offered a suspension with Tri rings, that I know of (somebody correct me if I am wrong) The ones he had were reinforced, but I believe he is changing over to a different system due to supply issues. but I may be mistaken there as well.
