    Zipper Quality?

    What brand/type of zipper is used in the modifications?

    Are they YKK?

    YKK. Excellent workman(woman)ship, great customer service and possibly the best mod ive done to my HH. You wont regret it!.

    We decided to use a #5 coil zipper, the #3 coil zipper seemed too light for desired durability.

    Well sure ... that's the technical lingo ... all I could tell you is on my mod ... it's GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! Smooth and durable for a zipper.

    There are some in the gallery. If you are considering a DIY attempt, my counsel would be send it to them and let them do it right. The price is certainly right. The workmanship is supposed to be first rate. When/if I have the mod done I will be sending it to them to do rather than doing it myself. Yeah.. I probly got the DIY chops to do.. but why bother when the option is so accessible and reasonable.
