    Uwharie Nat Forest hang (NC)

I'm planning a trip to Uwharie National Forest for the weekend of the 20th - 22nd.
It's been my camping spot for well over 6 years now, but it's my first time ever on a hammock.
So far, It will be me, my 11yr old son, one of my friends, and his dad, Buck (the coolest man I've ever met).
Our camp spot is fairly easy to get to in a truck, however a little bit of a challenge for a car.
When we camp, we have a tendency of eating like kings, and that's exactly what we'll do. Since my truck makes it right to the camp site, cooking utensils are plentiful. Our meals will probable be some stew, steak and eggs, liver mush, and good ol' Filipino menudo w/white rice (drooling as I type).
Basically its a big ol' outdoor party.
    Anyone interested, please chime in.

That's me on the chair on the left, back in 01.

And we would love to have you there Shug!!!

Well Bhancock, we are all the way down at deep water.
Basically you keep going down the same road that the shooting range is at, and when you think you've gone too far, keep going some more. At the end of that road, you'll see the road for Deep Water Camp.
A lot of people dont know about this little gem of a camp site because they dont go down far enough.
Last time we went I took my boat, and did some mean fishing out there.

If you look at the map, we'll be at campsite #10
Every time we go, we take HWY 49 to HWY 109, and all dirt road from there.

I know exactly where it is. There is a small waterfall on the right hand side of the road, down in the woods, on the way there. I have some new gear to test.

    That's it!
Well, come on down and join us, hopefully you can give me some tips on setting my hammock up for the first time.
It would be great to meet some new campers.
