Not to beat a dead horse, but he failed to convince me that nylon and woodstoves are a good combination. Be very careful.

I went to Jo-Ann Fabric yesterday. When I was having my fabric cut the lady asked what I was making. I remembered what Seuss said and I seriously told her "a prom dress". She laughed and said she didn't believe me. I just told her it was for camping equipment. It was a good ice breaker...for me. No more discomfort.

My Grandmother's very favorite story to tell is when her 37 year old grandson called her to ask how to end a stitch.
What can I say, I took shop instead of home economics.

I bought some "gear making stuff" at Wally World, then walked over to sporting goods and waited in line to get deer tags! Only saw one ole boy I know!

    Re; sewing

'bout a thousand years ago, when I was about 12, I asked my mother to patch my pants. My Dutch grandmother was there visiting. She grabbed my skinny arm and hauled me over to the sewing machine. Told me to watch carefully. She did the first leg, then sat me down and said "Now its your turn." Told me to learn to do it myself, because my mother wouldn't be around forever. And if anybody gave me any lip about sewing, just remind them that the best tailors in the world are MEN! Park my Harley out front of the cloth store and walk in with a long beard and riding leathers on seems to get me waited on real quick. And I could care less what they think of me.
