I did 4 nights in big south fork, temps were below freezing every night, as i wokeup platypus bottles were frozen, boots were frozen, whooppies frozen, just shook em off, whacked em a few times, and when i stowed them in my pack, i let hte slings dangle and secured them with the elastic on the back of my pack. problem solved, were dry when i reached camp again the next night, honestly not a big deal for me during winter.
