    I'm pretty sure that I am going to mod my neo tarp in that same way. The only thing that is stopping me is that by trimming off the corners is that it's only going to give like 3' of coverage on each side. While I'm sure that's sufficient, I am spoiled by having the ~5' per side coverage with my current tarp.

    Yeah, I've gone the same mental route, but the coverage of my BlackCat (for less weight, too) has made it a little hard to get the motivation to mod

    I'm about to give my Neo tarp to my nephew, so I won't get to try that mod at all. Oh well. <shrug>

    70D Superflauge Nylon @ Rockywoods.com

    Just found something fairly neat. 70D nylon, 55" wide, waterproofed, in a pattern called Superflauge. Search for product # 5983-10. The superflauge pattern isn't fantastic, but it beats 'woodland camo' and it's lightweight nylon. It's also $8.99 a yard!
