bump...this is coming up in less than a week. don't want it to fall off the radar.

My tarp and bugnet had better arrive this week.

I just need to sew a couple more loops in my tree straps and my suspension will be ready to go.

I need to get my other gear out and clean/service anything I need to because most of it hasn't been used in a long time. And food...hmm, mice ate my stock of backpacking food last year, so I have to come up with something for a couple days, anyway.

I was sort of fishing for a carpool, but I'm gonna have to pass this time.
    AAAAAhhhhh!
    Maybe next time!

    Thanks for thinking about me.

When we get back from roaming around AR, MO, and OK we'll clean up, restock, and hit the road again. Plan to be there Friday afternoon...

...thats me, Texas Longhorn, and Mom.

BTW - anyone need a new pack or tarp? I will be bringing along a Gregory Whitney Pack and a Pacific Outdoor Equipment S4 Tarp that need new homes.

I don't feel like boxing them and mailing them so I'll bring them, if anyone wants a deal the I'll sell the pack for $190.00 and the tarp for $80.00. Paypal is fine with me.

The tarp has been unpackaged and hung in the back yard once. The Pack has been used on one backpacking trip and one car camping trip. Both look like brand new.

I bought them in anticipation of outfitting kids in my youth group for a trip then they decided they all wanted destinations with porcelain facilities so I am lightening the load. (The truth is, I have my eye on a couple of RAT/ESEE knives and in order to keep my marriage in good standing - I need to sell something before I buy more.)

Great! I'll probably be pulling in about that time, too.

Ok everyone, I've been sick for about 3 weeks now and can't seem to shake this thing. I went to the doctor this morning.(I hate going to the doctor!!!) Any way I have a sinus infection and upper resp infection. Got two shots in the buttox and major antibodics. The doc says he would not recommend me going but if I felt up to it later in the week it should be ok. As of right now I will not be getting there early as planned on Wed. and depending how I'm feeling I will try and show up early on Friday.
    Go Dawgs!!!!
