    catnip + rosemary + everclear.

crush herbs, put in ever clear. shake well. put some in a squirt bottle for trips.

the alcohol evaporates. the catnip and rosemary are natural mosquito repellents. it works for me while I' working in the garden during the warm months.

When I'm camping, I have the thermacell.

I was kinda wondering that myself. I like the idea of a full zippered bug net, but wouldn't it weight more than the WB bug net?

Yes, I would be astonished if two full zippers plus netting came in under 8 oz.

My thoughts exactly. I finally cut the (for me) irritating net off of my HH Explorer and now use WB's net. OK, it is several oz heavier than the stock HH net, but well worth it to me. Plus I can use it on other hammocks if needed.

But if I added zippers on each side of one of my top loader hammocks, I would reduce the weight advantage quite a bit, compared to just using the WB net. I really like it.
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us....that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.
    Romans 8:18,21-22
