    Thumbs up

Thanks Opie for the quick shipping and quality product. I put it on this afternoon and tried it out. Works great and is easy to adjust for my hammock.

just put together a ASR out of 7/64s amsteel (overkill, i know) and holy smokes am I believer! between whoopie slings in general and the readily adjustable the comfort provided by having an ASR I cannot contain myself in public. my non-hanging/non-DIY buddies think im crazy, but are starting to get the picture.

I hung my hammock from chainlinks to descender rings that are connected by my ASR. it makes the spread a little harder to figure out(im a tape measure guy), plus consume a bit more hanging real estate.

wondering if i should bypass rings/ chain links and just go whoopies from whips? i honestly need to invest in one of these. im no gram weenie but i am conscious about my grams..

Either way works. You can still leave the rings in your system and attach the RL to your chainlinks. Or is that what you meant?
