    ridgeline for a SWT

Newbie here looking for guidance. I've just bought a Speer Winter Tarp. Should I run a ridgeline from tree to tree and attach the tarp to that single line, or should I tie a length of line to each side and run each one directly to a tree without a ridgeline running all the way through the center of the tarp? Thanks.

It's just a matter of preference.

Personally it's one line for me with the tarp attached with prusiks.

Either way works .... with the snow loads right now I am doing a line under and the tarp hooked with shock-cord prussik knots.
summer I just tie them off to the ends.
