Not UL, but an antler "button" would be pretty neat.

If anyone wants their own custom whatever used, just gotta get it to me.

I was thinking about using the beads that have letters on them. You can have your initials in your slings. First name on one end and last on the other.

why not use a loop of zing it or maybe a mitten hook? At least then the stopper could be used for something besides decoration.

Thats not a bad idea tlbj.

Thats an option Ill leave up to the customer. The beads wont add any price to the sling.

Works great in fixed eyes too. I sheathed my main fixed eye on my ridgeline as this is the one stress spot always in contact with toggles. It also gives me an easy color contrast to to spot the end of my ridgeline during initial setup.

I tell you what... the ideas flow so fast around here its hard to tell who actually came up with what.

I had forgotten about the specifics of that thread, but remembered there were all kinds of suggestions.

So it does appear this was YOUR idea prior to having someone else suggest it to me.

AMEN to that. Most of my DIY gear is a collection of other people's great ideas. I'm sure there are a few originals in there somewhere... but I'm reluctant to claim any.

I do like to give credit where credit is due, and I applaud you Opie for doing the same.
