Thanks for the report and photos.

Is that blue underquilt attached directly to the hammock? Very snug fit with no gaps. Looks very comfy and warm.

Very nice. I see you have a ridgeline over and under your tarp. Covering all the bases. What were the other types of gear that were present?

    Wallabies....wow, who'd have thought that.

It was very toasty and well worth the import duties etc.

I strung the outer cords to a mini karabiner which was then prusiked onto a utility line under my tarp. The inner cord just looped directly onto my hammock karabiners. I tinkered around a bit at home before the trip but I guess I was lucky to find such a snug fit, if you excuse the pun.
When laid in my hammock I was able to move the UQ underneath me but still not have any air gaps.

    Great bit of kit

The tarp is a DD 3x3m, popular amongst the bushcraft fraternity over here

The hammock is a Nomads Land XXL, made from parachute silk and really soft and comfy, no ridges under the legs etc. I borrowed a Blackbird for the second night though.

The underquilt is one of Eds Snugfits, superb purchase.

The bag is an Alpkit Pipedream 600, 600g of 750+ fill. Comes in around 900g I think and good for -10 c
