No thanks necessary but I would like to read Boober's book when it's finished. It was a pleasure meeting you all. Which reminds me I need to send Adia some website links we were discussing at hang!

SkyDog and I made a side trip into PA and are now just getting back to Virginia.

Just read thru all the posts. Like everyone is saying: THANKS TO ALL!

As part of the sub-cult of camping and the sub-cult of hiking, this sub-cult of the sub-cult hammocking has a bunch of pretty fine folks! Everyone is so nice, friendly, helpful, skillful, and just crazy enough to hang in trees.

    Twas too much fun!

    Great pics too! Thanks!
    Happy Trails,
    J.D.

I never drink water. I'm afraid it will become habit-forming.

    snipe hunt

Whole different critter. I should have said "snipe", sort of a nocturnal "hide-behind".

If i remember correctly the best place to find snipes is the inside of someone else's hammock.

    On a side note.
    Dutch,
Did I hear you mention at the hang that you were looking for a new e+lite? If it's made by petzl I found some at EMS.

It's a kilt!! If it were a skirt, I'd be wearin somthin under it!!

For certain, you have to be lost to find a place as can't be found. Elseways, everyone would know where it was.
