    picked up a trick

This was a nice way to have lunch, although I now need to blow the crumbs off my keyboard

I'd not see the reflectix trick, that's a good one. I have some home plumbing repair to do tonight which means I'm off to Home Depot and I'll have to see if they have any of that stuff.

But expert sire, an observation, a question. Towards the end of the video you have your feett insulated, you have your thighs insulated, you have your buttox insulated, your back and shoulders insulated….but not your head, aside from your stocking cap. Don't cha think you want a PILLOW? any ideas ?

Don't put your socks on over your boots ...... it is coming ... in my own non-linear way.
I never get cold there though...
Happy to send you a chunk of reflectix ... I have a bit extra. If you want.

How about in Spring and Summer, do you use the pad or the UQ? First time I've seen the pad sleeve. I've got like half a roll of the reflectix. It's what I used as a second thermal protector last year when on the ground.

Shug, Another great video as always. I do have a ? for ya though, do you cinch the yeti any closer to the hammock underneath you, around your shoulders or feet to reduce air flow between hammock and UQ at all?
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

It is cinched tight and the Yeti has baffle collars that go across it on the head and foot end. I usually double wrap it on the end of the hammock. When you sit up naturally there are gaps ... when flat .... none on mine.

Thanksa lotsa, Shug! I always learn something from your videos. For example, I didn't realize when using the whoopie slings over the marlinspikes, you put the cord over the knot!

It's things like that which really help a lot when I go out to the trees to try something new!
