    Hello from Minnesota

Hi all, I have been camping and canoeing in the BWCA for 31 years. I started out with a nylon net hammock to relax in at the end of a long days paddling. Ten years ago I upgraded to a Byers Hammock. I still only used it for napping and reading a book in the afternoon during my camping trips. Last year I bought a ENO doublenest hammock, ENO bug net and ENO dryfly. I almost froze to death and learned that I needed an underquilt. I have many questions about them and I am looking forward to a great time here, Thanks all.

If you haven't yet seen the utubes from SHUG, do so as they are a wealth of information, not to mention entertainment. There are hundreds of years of accumulated knowledge here on the forum. (Not evenly distributed, however)

Welcome SV! from another Upper Midwesterner.

Hang out here for a while, then go hang out in the woods more comfortably.
