Can anyone tell me what the minimum and maximum lengths Arrowhead Equipment's whoopie slings can be adjusted to. Thanks

Hey Roadtorque, Sorry to not get back to you sooner, Been swamped again, Mondays tend to be busy around here Just grabed one and Fully extended to max length it is 78 inches from tip to tip, and pulled down to just about as small as you can go with out pulling the working end into the bury it is 21 tip to tip. Figure on a few inches of that being used up to connect to the hammock depending on what method and what hammock.

    no sure numbers here but
    If he started with 14 feet, has a 6" eye and a 12 inch bury then we are looking at about 6'6" - 7' max (14' - 1 for the eye, - 2.5 for the burry - .5 for the burry on the eye = 10 ft?2 = 5' adjustable eye + the 24 inch minimum) and a 21-24" minimum (6" eye + 3-6" eye burry + 12" whoopie burry)

it depends how tight Paul is willing to go with the ends of the eye burry and the length of the eye splice. Knowing Paul I would guess he is on the safe side with Burry lengths so I think your min will be more like 24" maybe even a smidge longer. Which makes your max also a smidge longer.

So, that is a rough guess based on my experiences making whoopie slings

I have a 3" piece of the mantel (outside sheath) of Para cord tied in each of my loops, so far I haven't come close to pulling them in, but I'm prepared,,, I think / hope.
When you have a backpack on, no matter where you are, you’re home.
PAIN is INEVITABLE. MISERY is OPTIONAL.

Yep! Be careful! I'm still just tying a temp loop in mine. I should do something more permanent, but this works.

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us....that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.
