    This may not be the correct thread for this particular question and if not, someone please direct me to the correct one, but what are the “cons” to an adjustable structural ridgeline? (Whoopiesling type in particular.)

    A little more complicated and a fraction of an ounce heavier than a non-adjustable one. Hardly anything to be concerned about if you want adjustability.

    I'm about a month late, I know, but here's some info on making a whoopie sling ridgeline if you were interested.

    I tried a paracord ridgeline myself at first but it seemed to always stretch too much once I tied it off and hopped in the hammock.
