Bugnet material.

Anyone know where I can get some material to make my own bugnet? I haven't checked yet, but I have an idea where to get it. I just want to see where everyone else gets it and compare prices. I want to make a bugnet similar to Just Jeff's hammock sock. The sock worked so good I bet a bugnet in the same fashion would be great.

Dutch's list, plus speerhammocks, which is another good place for 1.9 oz and 1.1 oz ripstop. And a GREAT PLACE for life-time spools of thread suitable for DIY projects. (lifetime? I'm on my third spool....)

REI (at least the one by me) carries noseeum for 1.25 a yard.

Do you happen to know how wide it is? If it's standard width (54" or so) and decent quality - that's a steal!

Can't say much about the quality in comparison to other noseeum being as this is the only stuff I've used, but it seems nice to me.

How much does it usually go for?

I might be able to set up some sort of group buy if it's only at my REI for some reason.

It's more commonly found at about $1.25/ft rather than /yd. Nice find. No REI's near me... or in my State for that matter, so far as I know.

for mine, we had some left over tulle from our wedding.
Tulle is what my wife used to make her veil. I dont have a price, but most fabric stores should carry it.

I do think that it is not as durable as I had initially thought, but it does keep out the buzzing critters and is light. I have only used it on one trip and it worked, but time will be the real test.
