I amy be losing my thread injector for a while. There si currrently no room in the apartment for me to set up. The wife said something about sharing her machine with me. Sounds like something out of the twlight zone. Not sure I should think about taking her up on it.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

    don't do it, it's a trap!
see if you can locate one of the sewing machine cabinets that turn into an endtable or desk, that you can fit your machine into.. might save a lot of grief that way...
good luck and watch out for withdrawal symptoms! KM

Well truth be told the machines are going in for a tune-up. So the withdrawl may be household wide.

Ignore age, avoid bells and whistles, and buy a Bernina.

    Update!

I gave the "new" thread injector a real try out the last couple of days. I made a new summer synthetic 2/3 UQ, and hammock. The machine works great!
I'll try to get some pics up as soon as I can.
To anyone who is considering getting a gear making machine, I highly recommend going to pawn shops, thrift stores, rummage sales, etc.. DON'T BUY A NEW ONE! The old ones will last longer, and you won't spend a fortune. I paid 35$ for mine, (plus the 17$ to get the manual online), but still a great bargain.
No LCD screen, no plastic parts, and no frills. Just a basic workhorse.... nice!
