I just came back in a few minutes ago from tying to sleep my hammock on the deck. I'm trying out a new UQ made with Insultex & Primaloft. It was working well but I can't sleep because of this thread Or maybe it's that big bright

Word is he does have an inside track with the Big Man. His comp. was down this morning so I apprised him via tele. He's gotta get clearance from the other powers that be, but I'm sure he's in as well.

Same weekend as the Trail Days hike. What's the fishing like down there? I've done the AT section many times, I'd like to see something new.

I'll be checking the calendar to see if I can go. My Anniversary is that weekend, but she told me that celebrating on the actual day is not all that important. I'll have to verify. Trust, but verify. Sounds like fun! I had thought of doing the Trail Days hike, but would rather hit the Gorge given the choice.

Thru traffic on the MST has always been fine. You just won't be able to go
down on the NCwall and camp like you and Shug did last fall. There are some campsites east of the MST just south of the Chimneys that would be fine.
The sites at Chimney Gap and Cambric would be usable too.

Depends on the track but can be severe ... but taking time ... works wonders!
