    WBBB (brown) arrived yesterday

Well - my very first purpose-built camping hammock arrived in yesterday's mail - a brown blackbird. I have no place to hang it up at home but I unpacked it and checked out all the features. Before this, I've used simple DIY gathered end hammocks or a cheap double wide parachute hammock (such a deal it was on Amazon) so I am STOKED since none of those had any kind of anti-bug features, or nifty shelf or anything.

Very well made piece of gear - Thanks, warbonnet guy!

Anyway - as soon as it stops raining, I'll head out to the local park and try it out.

Stops raining? Geesh that's what tarps are for ... testing gear in the rain!

That and it gives the neighbors something to talk about!

Yep, I bought all of Brandon's hammocks and will be the exclusive supplier of Warbonnet goods. See my warehouse below. Don't even think of breaking in, Gorge Rats; It it guarded by top men--top men...

Seriously though, the brown is on my wish list and I'd love to see some pictures of it.

yeah, it is a bit high on the left there.

Could have had the sides pulled out more although I suppose you cannot see them. Was difficult shooting level lying down w/ arm, pole, stickpic and camera all sticking out of the zipper. And then I got the pole tangled up in the lines. Had to rotate this shot 13 (18? can't remember) degrees to get the ground level. Hurrah for the GIMP!

    (original)

A very roomy and very comfortable hammock! I can't wait to take it on the trail this weekend.

The stuff sack is just the right size for me to leave my little bitty pillow attached to the hammock.

    Envious...

Ok, I think I'm just about SOLD on the BB. I like that brown version.
Now if I can just gather up all my $$ Pennies $$, then shoot Brandon an email to place an order.
