I have to thank everyone on this forum that helped my niece/hiking buddy get up off the ground !(so to speak).Either directly or thru informative posts she has embraced hanging as a tool for COMFORTABLE long distance hiking .I really feel that it will make a impact on how far she can go daily .by getting a good nights sleep. She has commented to me several times that this forum is one of the most civil, polite, and helpful forums (of any topic) on the net.For a crazy bunch of tree hangers ,you guys are the best !!! thanks.uncle hikie
Did she just stop posting or has she gotten off the trail? No posts in over 2 weeks...
yes she is still doing good .thru the Smokies (somewhere ) just a little behind in posts .
Good luck too her!!!
Moss, AKA Zuke, finished the Smokies yesterday after two consecutive 20 mile days. She had seen her first bear on the hike after only two hours in the Smokies a few days ago.
