    Thinsulate Quilts

I haven't seen a lot of talk about thinsulate for quilts out here. Does it not work well for quilt applications? Is it too heavy, expensive etc? Thanks ahead of time for the insight.

It's real heavy and doesn't compress well at all. Not a good choice for a backpacking quilt.
