    First DIY Tarp

Well, it only took a few months to complete, but I have finished my first DIY project, a 12x11 Blackcat tarp.

With a 3 year old and a 5 month old daughter, I underestimated how long this would take, or rather how little time I would have to spend on making the tarp. I spent between 10 and 15 hours on this total, but I am the type to think everything through before completing each step. I could probably do another in about half of the time.

    Anyway, here it is.

I am still working on the suspension. I just put it up with some mason line and a couple of carabiner figure 9s.

    Out of the weather.

I really like the red gg - and the "custom" embroidery. Very cool, and great looking tarp. I think the size looks ideal for hanging and being able to do stuff under it if it's pouring out. You must be mighty proud.
