I share your sentiments. My fingers were sore for two weeks.

Its not that bad. Ive got rough hands already because I use them every day in a quite demanding environment. I also spent 15 years doing landscaping and hardscaping work.

That being said... I have noticed more popping in clicking in my left wrist than is normal for me.

Thanks for the feedback so far... Keep it coming. I need to find a way to speed up the process of making these. Eliminating the second loop would make things go much quicker.... But I dont want to do that if its actually being used.

OK, one thing I would recommend. The knots inside the tubing need to be larger. I pulled one out when the stake was frozen in the snow and my wife pulled another out today. The tiny little knots will pull past the zip tie if pulled improperly.

    Scotty.. Noted, thank you.

Ive been searching for smaller zip ties to help get a better grip above the knot... But so far its not working out.

I have had the same problem using latex tubing. I tried a double overhand and it still pulled through. Then I stacked three of them together to make a really fat knot. So far, so good.

I think some of this might be the zip ties. I have been using ones that are all plastic, including the little tab that does the locking.

I picked up some smaller ones some time back that use a metal tab to do the locking. I tried them tonight on some guylines and they do seem to lock down better. With the all plastic ones sometimes the locking tab would let the tie slip loose a couple clicks....

I was just thinking of buying some of these today and saw the note on your site that what was shown in the video was no longer correct, that the second loop is now gone. So you did decide to eliminate the second fixed loop on the non-tensioner side?

Also, I thought I saw a post indicating that the tubing is not affected by weather (cold), unlike bungee cord. Is that correct?

    Thanks!

Dan, you are correct. The second loop as been eliminated from the design. And yes, the tubing is much better than bungee cord at cold temps. I've used it at 20 degrees F and it had plenty of resiliency. Colder than that I'm probably staying at home

That's interesting, I thought it was the other way around... any idea of how cold tubing or bungee is good for?
