    I'm very interested in your canoe. My back sucks, and I've been considering a Native Ultimate 14.5, but it weighs almost 3x what your rig does.

    If you ever get into this part of the world (northern NY), Pete Hornbeck is based in Olmstedville, NY, and he has demos of all of his boats at the factory, and a pond to try them all out in, to compare models.

    Thanks for the trip report NFA. That is one more idea for a summer trip. I just gotta figure out a good way to portage my kayak.
