Beautiful pics, thanks for sharing. It sure looks like the trip of a lifetime. GNP has been on my list for a while.
FWIW, for anyone wanting to backpack in Glacier, do your research. I was part of a group and pretty much had no say in the trails that we hiked. If I were to do it again, I would choose a loop trail off the Going To The Sun highway and ride the shuttle up to the trailhead. I would also plan to spend 2 nights at each site so that you have time to explore and sightsee.
More than once, I felt like I was on a death march which took a lot of enjoyment out of the trip. But, when you stop hiking, sit down and look around you are completely amazed at the sites all around you.
