Thanks for the information. The switchback looks interesting. The only difference I can see is there is no footbox like on the WBBB? I might be forced to go with this one.

Anyone know pro & cons of each?

    thanks.
Let me know if you decide to go with the Claytor. I have one I'd probably part with.

Happy hunting, the last one went in 4 minutes to greenspaul. He'd been looking to get one for a while and missed out on a few chances.

Brandon should be back soon, so maybe email him and get yourself closer to the top of the waiting list.

    Cheers

    Brian

i will sell you a double layer 1.1 blackbird with 1/8 amsteel whoppie slings (well-made locked brummel version, the slings have 7.5 foot of adjustability on each end). I will also include the original suspension webbing setup as well if you want to try that too. I also replaced the ridgeline with Opies ultralight zing-it adjustable ridgeline. Original ridgeline included as well if you want it back on(trust me adj. is better) The hammock has 10 nights of use; 5 @ big south fork w/ me (155lbs) , 3 @ red river gorge w/ me, 2 on the AT with my friend (275LBS). There is a slight fading discoloration in the fabric near the foot end, this happened after it got a little rain on it. Its just a tad lighter green than the rest of the hammock, not really that noticeable. I can post a pic if you want to see it.

    Mint green blackbird Blackbird w/:
    opies adjustable ridgeline
    1/8 amsteel whoppie slings
    original suspension
    Hammock elastic pullout lines
    stuff sack

    are you interested?

BTW if you are worried about the strength, it help up my friend for 3 nights who weighs 275LBS. This hammock will hold you up fine, the strengths of silnylon are underrated on brandon site, they will hold alot more, he just gives conservative estimates so he doesn't have to worry about replacing them.

    $150 shipped

    wetware,
did you purchase the WBBB? I am curious as I am 6'2" and about 285. If so is it comfortable? Do you feel like the sides are closing in around you? I would be interested to hear. Thanks
