Does anyone know if hanging a hammock is permitted at Breaks Interstate Park on the KY/VA state border?
Or should I plan to go to ground from the get go?

I would look up on the web, but I don't there are too many restrictions on hammock in Ky as far as I know. I have hung at Mammoth Cave, Red River Gorge, and Cave Run Lake.

Looks like I'll be hanging.
Looked on web before posting and only found info about driving nails, hanging lanterns etc. Nothing specific about hammocks for either KY or VA.

Beware though the bears are bad down there so make sure you take all precautions. Basically don't cook by hammock and make sure you hang your food bag like it supposed to in bear country.
