    hey thanks, just looked like the thera band were easy to make but, I'll try making some of the shock cord tensioners 1st. ive got it on back order from REI, no idea when it will come,,hope the 1/8 size is enough,, now I just need to remember where I bookmarked how to's on the shock cords t tensioners..

    John, just a nit-pik as i noticed the height of your structural ridgeline and was just pointing out what you pro'lly already know, if you lower that ridgeline you will have much more flexibility in getting the tarp to protect your hammock. did you ever lower it for storm conditions?

    Just as a note - this thread was 18 months old, and probably long forgotten by the original poster before the secondary question about thera-band.
