Old Gorge Rat
Big old NC welcome to ya ... being new to the game ... might I reccmd a fun watch of Shug's video series on all the basics? Good watch ... learn a lot of basics ... learn questions to ask and have a bunch of belly laughs in the process. If you've already seen them ... watch them again ... it's fun stuff!
Welocme to the forums. I second the nod on watching Shug's videos. They are fun and educational at the same time.
Welcome from middle Georgia. I was in savannah last week for a kayak fishing tournament.
Thanks for all the feed back guys. My biggest question right now is what it a over/under quilt?
If you can get to Cumberland Island I would recommend it. My troop went 2 or 3 years ago good hike lots to see, on the ride out a school of dolphins was swimming with the boat and jumping out of the water level with the boat (10ft or so).

Both used to keep you cozy. Check out the Bottom insulation and Top insulation section of the forum to hear some experienced advice and opinions
I too am new to the hanging scene, and am 18. Been to Savannah once (won't be my last) for St. patty's day celebration. You crazy kids! nuff said.
